Dr. Luis Prochnow

KEYNOTE

Luis has a degree in agronomy from the Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1985), a master’s degree in science (Nuclear Energy in Agriculture) from the University of São Paulo (1992) and a doctorate in Agronomy (Soils and Plant Nutrition) from the University of São Paulo (1996). He is the CEO of Plant Nutrition Science & Technology (NPCT), a Consultant for the Global Phosphorus Institute (GPI), and Coordinator for the Nutrients for Life (NFL) initiative in Brazil. Previous experience includes teaching at the University of São Paulo and General Program Director for Brazil with the International Plant Nutrition Institute (IPNI). He is a specialist in plant nutrition with a focus on phosphorus and phosphate fertilizers.

Dr. Brian Jenks

Dr. Jenks is the Weed Scientist for the NDSU North Central Research Extension Center in Minot. He has been with the North Central REC for 18 years. He earned his Ph.D. in weed science from the University of Nebraska.
