Farming Smarter Field School offers information sessions in the fields where the research takes place. Researchers, local producers and academics give participants the best information currently available. As much as possible, southern Alberta farmers inspire Farming Smarter’s work and, therefore, the in-field sessions during the Field School and crop walks.
Field School is every summer at Farming Smarter research and development site in Lethbridge County, Alberta. (211034 HWY 512, Lethbridge County) It’s a one-day event from 8 am to 3:30 pm. Generally, it takes place near the end of June or the first week of July.
The events also offer CCA, CCSC and Pesticide Application credits when possible.
