Knowing what drives environmental impacts can help producers make production and management decisions that provide the greatest financial and environmental benefits. APG also recognizes that an emission intensity benchmark will benefit pulse growers moving forward. As such, APG encourages producers to participate in a survey of production practices for field pea. We expect it to help the industry move forward and identify ways to increase resource efficiency, reduce costs and decrease the industry's environmental footprint and emission intensity.
