Battle River Research Group, Lakeland College, and Lethbridge College joined the FarmRite organization in order to lend their expertise to growing agricultural innovation. Olds College is in the process of coming on board as well.
FarmRite is an organization born out of collaboration Alberta agricultural research groups with the goal to apply, adapt and adopt new and innovative crop and livestock technologies to create success and sustainability within the agricultural community.
Previously consisting of six non-profit research organizations, recently the new organizations joined to collectively provide additional resources for agricultural technology and research development. They operate independently across Alberta but have joined forces to work together on projects that provide a common good across all regions of the province.
