The Miistakis Institute with Cows and Fish (Alberta Riparian Habitat Management Society) want to assess Albertan's knowledge about and perceptions towards beavers, their habitat and management. Understanding this is important to realize benefits and address impacts. The survey is available onlinefrom May 31 to July 26. It will take approximately 25-30 minutes to complete. Those individuals who do not have beavers on their land are still encouraged to complete the survey! Participation in the survey is voluntary. Results will be aggregated and feedback will not be attributed to individuals. The Miistakis Institue and the Cows & Fish websites will display the results of this survey in a formal report created after the survey period. The resultswill also help inform the development of education materials about beavers and beavermanagement.
