Sara Gateman

Full Bio

Sara joined the team in 2016 as a summer student and became a full-time technician in 2020. She works closely with the Field-Tested team. You will find her working hard in the fields or shop year round.

She brings a B.Sc. Biochemistry from the University of Lethbridge to her work with us. Her Farming Smarter experience includes time with research each crew; which developed her into a well-rounded researcher for whatever projects come our way. In 2022, she began managing several small plot trials and looks forward to continuing that responsibility in the future.

She loves that, even after many years at Farming Smarter, she gets to learn and grow every single season.
