2023 Nuffield Canada Applications Open Until June 30

Wednesday, April 6, 2022

Applications for 2023 Nuffield Canada Agricultural Scholarships will be accepted from April 1 though June 30, 2022.

Scholarships are open to crop, livestock, aquaculture, fisheries, forestry, organic and Indigenous production, or any other relevant sector of modern agriculture. Anyone interested in learning more about Nuffield Canada and the application process can visit www.nuffield.ca.

In 2022, Nuffield Canada had its biggest cohort so far with six scholars.

The 2022 Nuffield Contemporary Scholars Conference (CSC-22) was held March 7 - 15 in Norwich and London, UK, and was host to 138 delegates from 15 different countries.

It was attended by Nuffield Canada's six scholars - Ingrid Johnston (BC), Ken Coles (AB), Shawn Moen (SK), Odette Menard (QC), Lauren Park (NS), and Mark Phillips (PEI), along with Blake Vince, Chair, and Theresa Whalen, ED.

For Ken Coles it was all about the networking, "The CSC is a great chance to meet other scholars and to attract them to visit Canada as well. I was already able to visit three scholars in Ireland and plan to host at least three. The hospitality I received was priceless and I'm excited to pay it forward."
