Summer is upon us and here at Farming Smarter and we are happy to welcome our summer students.

With over three quarters of its 173 trials harvested, Farming Smarter expects to complete harvest by the second week of Sept except silage and grain corn trials.

Sugar beet growing regions went from across the prairies to now only Ontario and southern Alberta. Now, Farming Smarter aims to identify the best management practices for the crop so producers can optimize and enhance their operations.

Three Farming Smarter project have been extended for three years, allowing us to advance irrigation and hemp research in southern Alberta

We're done rolling for our Rolling Cereals trial, finishing with the most interesting year yet. Rain, heat, and more rain have created new obstacles and opportunities for the team!
