Our new website features free personalized accounts for everyone. These accounts allow you to receive newsletters and access Farming Smarter updates on a regular basis. If you are deeply interested in our research and want to get more insights, you can also buy a paid subscription. Farming Smarter paid subscribers get exclusive access to our new and current project results and latest news/videos.

Under the Who We Are menu, you can visit our Staff Directory to meet our diverse team and read their bios. There you can find contact information of each team member and reach out to them personally with questions about projects. You can learn how to become a board member to guide Farming Smarter and read the strategic plan. This tab tells you all about our organization.
Navigate to our What We Do tab and look at our past and current research projects that innovate agriculture and farming. There’s a variety of research content from field scale, agronomy plots and custom research for you to explore.
We offer a range of services and events to foster innovation in agriculture. We conduct agronomy research, field scale research, and custom research to deliver unbiased and trusted results. We also provide learning opportunities with a conference, field and virtual events. We aim to change the way people farm by bridging ideas and people, conducting practical research, and sharing unbiased knowledge and wisdom.
Access our Learning Resources tab that contains our online classroom that offers Certified Crop Advisor credits (CCA). We have two subscriptions that can access the classroom for free: Agronomy Smarts and Digital Learning. All other users pay a small fee per course. This menu includes access to our videos and podcasts that showcase our research and findings.
If you are passionate about helping us with our research and want to involve yourself with our projects, there are many opportunities for you to contribute under the Get Involved tab. You can find out how to become a member, a sponsor, a volunteer or a partner of Farming Smarter.
In addition to our new search filter, our website features a responsive design that allows you to easily access our content from any device. We’re committed to providing accessible and convenient resources to farmers, researchers and anyone interested in agriculture.
