David Opinko may not be one of Farming Smarter’s brilliant ag researchers, but he’s the guy who can tell their stories.
He came into this role with a decade of experience in journalism, writing and broadcasting for radio stations in southern Alberta, B.C. and Manitoba.
His expertise comes in being able to see the value and impact that decisions have on communities, and highlighting peoples’ hard work, good nature and dedication to their crafts.
As External Communications Specialist, David is excited to spread the word about the innovation being achieved at Farming Smarter, working with local news organizations and agriculture publications, and getting to meet those in the agriculture community.
